Winery Description: Emme Wines is a small-batch natural wine project based in Sonoma, California that was established in 2018 by Rosalind Reynolds. Named in tribute to her grandmother Emme, who inspired her respect for local organic produce, the winery emphasizes sustainable organic farming and minimal-intervention methods. The wines focus on “old-school California” varietals—such as Carignan, Colombard, Merlot, Zinfandel—as well as rarer grapes like Abouriou, Valdiguié, and Muscat Vert. Growing grapes with organic or beyond-organic practices, Reynolds crafts wines fermenting with ambient yeasts, avoiding additives, and often using techniques like foot crushing, whole-cluster ferments, and aging in neutral vessels to produce vibrant, expressive wines that honor both tradition and innovation.

Additionally, wineries can opt to "sponsor" WineRelease, showcasing their listings and wines in a distinctive red format for increased visibility.
