Winery Description: Denali Estate Winery was founded in 2012 by Walt and Katherine Schlotfeldt, who continue to own and operate the winery. Located on a 42-acre property in St. Helena, California, the estate features 14 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted on rocky hillsides with primarily west and south exposures. The Schlotfeldts established Denali Estate to cultivate exceptional fruit, investing in vineyard expansion and improvements, including planting two new acres and replanting nine others. They produced their first vintage of Denali Estate Cabernet Sauvignon in 2016. In 2019, they expanded their wine portfolio to include Katherine’s Cuvee Champagnes, produced in partnership with Earl Francart Philippe from Vaudemange, a premier cru village in France.
