Winery Description: Hudson Ranch and Vineyards is a large agricultural estate located in the Carneros region of Napa Valley, California. Established in 1981 when Lee Hudson acquired the property and began planting vineyards, the ranch encompasses approximately 2,000 acres with about 200 acres under vine. The estate is known for growing a wide range of grape varieties, including both traditional Bordeaux and Rhône grapes as well as less common European varietals, with a focus on site expression and diversity. In addition to estate wine production, the vineyard supplies fruit to numerous Napa and Sonoma wineries, and the property operates as a mixed agricultural ranch with olives, livestock, and produce alongside its viticultural operations.
