Winery Information for: Rochioli Vineyards & Winery
Winery Founded: 1/1/1983
Winery Founded by: Joe Rochioli Sr.
Winery Current Owner: Tom and his wife, Theresa Rochioli
Winery Description: Rochioli Vineyards and Winery is a family owned estate in the Russian River Valley known for producing some of California’s most celebrated Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. The property was first planted to hops and grapes in 1938 by Joe Rochioli Sr., and later transitioned to premium winegrowing under the guidance of his son Joe Jr. In the early 1980s the winery was officially established under the Rochioli name, with Tom Rochioli leading as winemaker. Today the estate remains in family hands, with Tom and his wife Theresa overseeing operations while their children Rachael and Ryan represent the fourth generation involved in management and winemaking. The vineyards are farmed with a focus on small lot expression, and the wines have earned a reputation for elegance, balance, and a strong sense of place that reflects the unique terroir of the Russian River Valley.
