WineRelease.com's September 15, 2002 Monthly Newsletter

Greetings from WineRelease.com, now 698 wineries strong!

October 2002 Wine Releases

September's recommended winery mailing lists to join:

Hartwell Vineyards
Hartwell is a small, 2,500 case production winery producing Cabernet Sauvingon and Merlot varietals. In the July 18, 2002 Wine Spectator Weekly Newsletter, James Laube described the 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon as "An early candidate for wine of the vintage. Gorgeous, beautifully defined fruit, with uncommon richness and purity of flavor, gushing with ripe currant, blackberry and wild berry fruit, revealing extra facets and dimensions, with traces of nutmeg and anise and a long, intricate, detailed finish. Firmly tannic, but a wealth of fruit pushes through. Best from 2003 through 2012."

DuMOL
DuMOL is a Russian River Valley producer of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah wines in the traditional Burgundian and Rhone style that regularily receive 90+ points from Robert Parker. Since its inception, the wines have always sold out prior to release.

September's recommended web site to visit:

California Wineries Mall
California Wineries Mall has an incredible listing of California wineries with web sites. I use it often to get wine contact information.

Til next month!
