This month there were 123 winery updates since May 15, 2026 and 65 wineries releasing wine this month.

WineRelease.com now makes it easier to sign up for multiple winery mailing lists in one place and choose whether you prefer updates by email, postal mail, text, or a combination of options.

But why join winery mailing lists in the first place? Buying directly from wineries often offers benefits that go beyond simply purchasing wine.
  • Provenance you can trust: When you buy directly from a winery, you know where the wine came from and how it has been stored, helping ensure pristine provenance.
  • Direct support for wineries: More of your purchase goes directly to the winery rather than intermediaries.
  • Advance access to releases: Many wineries offer mailing list members access to wines before they are available to the general public. WineRelease.com lists wines as soon as they are available for purchase, whether released first to mailing list members or to the public.

I thought it would be fitting to begin with Howell Mountain since I live at the base of Howell Mountain and it is one of Napa Valley’s most distinctive wine regions.
