Greetings from, now 2,118 winery listings strong.

Happy Holidays!

As I always say, now is the time to dig around in your cellar and pull out your favorite bottles to share with family and friends. I have a small cellar in my house under the stairs and I don't keep track of the wine because I do enjoy searching around every so often and discovering bottles long forgotten. It isn't practical, but it is fun.

Last weekend we had friends up and we visited T Vine Cellars and Caridean Estate. I have been to T Vine as it is one of my new favorites but it was a first for Caridean. The winery is in the old Burberry/Coach outlet in St. Helena and has a great restaurant "Farmer & the Fox", a gift store, event center and bakery, Butterscots. I recommend visiting their little village.

And now, onto the wines...
