WineRelease.com's November 15, 2011 Monthly Newsletter.

Greetings from WineRelease.com, now 1,817 winery listings strong.

After last months big release (the birth of our daughter, Mia), life definitely got a bit more interesting. Who knew something so small could keep you so occupied? Fortunately for us, living in a large city, a block away from grocery shopping, restaurants, etc., forced us to get out and about. Mia was able to experience her first sushi restaurant (Okoze, in my opinion, is one of the best in San Francisco) days after coming home from the hospital. In addition, we hit some neighborhood favorites, including SPQR (to have that anniversary dinner that my wife and I missed due to Mia's arrival) where Matthew Accarrino, the head chef, who we had met at an event a month before, welcomed us (and Mia) with a delicious polenta, truffle mushroom dish; Pizzeria Delfina, the Grove, Elite Cafe, and several others. A huge thank you to the patience of our fellow patrons while we're adjusting to life with a baby in a restaurant...

We also made the drive up to Napa for my moms 82nd birthday lunch with the family at a long-time favorite, Bistro Don Giovanni (fried olives and the fritto misto plate, as well as the beet salad are must-haves on their menu).

In addition, a number of you so generously shared your well wishes (and several shared your wines as well), which really meant a lot. While we didnt make it to any winery events this past month, there are some coming up, including a potential trip to the Oregon wine country for the new year, to which we are looking forward.

As we approach the holiday season, I know that many of us will be sharing special bottles with friends and family. Whether you are enjoying a large family meal, intimate fine dining or something casual, I wish you the very best in health, happiness and good wines for the remainder of 2011 and into 2012.

I updated 183 wineries since last month's newsletter and I think that is a record amount of updates.

Id like to leave you with a recent picture of my baby girl. My friend Rachael thinks Mia is saying "Oh no, I forgot to turn the oven off".

And now, onto the wine.
